Met welke talenten wil je anderen van dienst zijn?

I founded a bilingual children's environmental foundation in The Hague to encourage kids to understand and care about their urban environment. Kids in the City works with creative arts, story-telling, gardening, food and flowers to promote and lobby for an improved urban environment for The Hague. We involve the large international community here, research the greening of cities and have a huge wish list for making the city a better place.

Wat betekent spiritualiteit voor jou?

A holistic way of looking at the world, realizing that what one does impacts on the world for better or worse. Living each day knowing that small kindnesses add to a better sense of being.

Hoe is dat inzicht gegroeid en wie/wat speelde daarbij een bijzondere rol?

Firstly travelling the world for 20 years and seeing how many cultures interact with their close environment, reading Peter Singers book "How are we to live, working for a human rights organization UNPO, hearing The Dalai Llama talk on everyday happiness, seeing a wonderful film at the Arab Film Festival in The Hague called Turtles Can Fly - simply the best anti-war movie. Many people, many books, many experiences.

Wat doe je met spiritualiteit in je werk?

A holistic way of living and working is paramount to all I do. I believe in positive networking and sharing the gifts of knowledge and expertise.
